Why is it so important to get to the root cause of your symptoms?

After suffering from anxiety and depression for over a decade about 20 years ago, something unexpected and remarkable happened whilst studying for my holistic counselling diploma. I got to see the underlying root causes of my stress, anxiety, and depression that had been driving my anxiety all of my life. I started uncovering previously hidden root causes, especially my public speaking anxiety that I had never known about myself or had ever seen so clearly before. The course showed me that I could personally overcome my anxieties and depression.


Today, I absolutely love public speaking live, performing music and socialising. As a result, I have been able to help many professionals, entrepreneurs’ psychologists, teachers, musicians, and people from all walks of life better understand the root causes of their symptoms associated with mind or physical ailments.

I did notice through working on my own issues and the in-depth research and study I did was that there were common threads in the root causes of most symptoms and ailments. And what they are is exactly what I'm going to show you in my program.

The purpose of my program is to empower you to discover your own inner wisdom and find an inner healing capacity.

What is Root Cause Counselling (RCC)?

Root-Cause Counselling (RCC) is one of the most powerful styles of counselling known because it gets to the root cause symptoms, such as insomnia, child trauma, anxiety disorder, psychological trauma and more. ​

Many people have developed a negative belief of “I am not worthy”. This belief could be conscious or unconscious. Were you born unworthy? NO! therefore where did this belief come from?

This belief, most likely created as a child or teenager can affect your whole life until you discover why? An issue, together with its symptoms will no longer exist when you treat the root cause.

There is so much evidence now that shows us that the mind-body connection has a powerful impact on our well-being at every level and can be used in treating mental and physical disorders. Therefore, it is important to know how your body responds to certain beliefs, emotions and stresses and their inceptions. RCC techniques help us see the origins of our beliefs and emotions that can cause physical and mind issues

At your initial consultation, you'll undergo an assessment that will identify the underlying causes of any symptoms and help you recognise how you respond to challenging situations so I can customise a treatment plan for immediate action improving overall happiness and well-being

  Defining the issue/symptoms

  • Assessing what specific symptoms you have.

  • How you have been responding to these symptoms. 

  • What impact has it had on your life?

  • What have you done in the past to treat the symptoms?

Possible Causes

  • Identifying when the symptoms started?

  • Identifying what triggers the symptoms or emotions that are causing unwanted thoughts, behaviours, and feelings such as anger, stress, low self-esteem, or addictive behaviour?
